Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in mixed heritage issues, non-profits, and empowering and celebrating youth in today’s diverse society? If you said yes to all of these then FUSION might just be the place for you!!

Board Members

We are a diverse group of community members, educators, and youth workers who are responsible for shaping the vision and operations of the organization. You would support and complement FUSION through active attendance and participation at Board meetings, Working group meetings, and fundraising. Serving on our Board is a non-paid approximate 10 hour commitment per month (much of this can be considered flex-time).

We welcome individuals from all walks of life, backgrounds and perspectives to be a part of this exciting opportunity as well. If you have an interest and/or specific experience in ANY of the following areas:

• Youth Development
• Fundraising
• HR & Operations expertise
• Education/Social Services
• Recreation Work
• Fiscal or Accounting Management
• IT & Technology experience
• previous board experience
• Marketing
• Event planning /Communications
• Multi-ethnic/cultural Experiences

We are looking for volunteers interested in designing and implementing workshops in the local community on the mixed heritage experience. Time commitment is approximately 2 hours a week for at least 2 months. Contact us to be a part of this exciting opportunity!
